Years ago, these (gingham and madras) were originally made as a fun window display (only for display) for the 4th of July window. Back then most harnesses were black leather. We definitely heard from the leather community. They were NOT amused. Once they realized they were just for fun, they lightened up a bit. After all, it was only a “daytime harness”. We never intended on making these (Didn’t even know how. The original ones were stapled to the window mannequins). Flash forward, the leather parties are now full of novelties like these. We have had thewholesomeharness.com for years now, even though most of our efforts are for covering you up in clothing. There is an OLD video you can watch below.
